The Tin Hut Cafe serves up classic British comfort food, specializing in hearty breakfasts that will set the tone for a fantastic day of exploration. Imagine starting your morning with their famous Bacon Cob or Sausage Cob—both generously sized at just £3.00! The portions are impressive, making it easy to understand why regulars rave about the full tin breakfast for an incredible price of £8.50. Jayden Ward, one satisfied customer, described the experience as "Brilliant food with huge portions!" and appreciated the flexibility of customizing his meal.

The cafe’s offerings don’t stop at breakfast; enjoy a delightful Jacket Potato for a mere £4, or opt for comforting Roast Potatoes at just £2.50. Each dish is prepared with quality ingredients that speak to the culinary craftsmanship behind the scenes. Diners like Carl Madin have found the homemade spicy potato wedges to be an absolute must-try, marking The Tin Hut Cafe as a place to savor the rich flavors of homemade cooking.

But it’s not just the food that keeps people coming back. The atmosphere is as delightful as the menu, with friendly staff members who go above and beyond to make your visit memorable. Elaine McGovern noted the cafe's welcoming vibe, and how the staff remembered her even after just one visit. Whether it’s the cozy interior or the charming outdoor seating overlooking the river where you can watch the wildlife, the setting enhances the overall dining experience.

With a menu that includes excellent coffee and tasty desserts, Sian Caulfield said it all when she called The Tin Hut Cafe “a gem of Bakewell.” Perfect for a casual brunch after a peaceful morning walk or a quick coffee break while exploring the area, The Tin Hut Cafe is dog-friendly, making it an ideal stop for pet owners as well. The relaxing environment, paired with the delightful offerings, will ensure you leave feeling satisfied and happy.

Brilliant food with huge portions! (3 Slices of bread with full tin breakfast!) if you have something on there you don’t like, just mention it and the item is taken off and you can swap it for an extra sausage, bacon or any item you fancy! £8.50 for a filling breakfast is amazing and the staff and venue is astounding. Take the 15 minute walk from central town and come to here for a great ALL DAY full english breakfasts, Brilliant all round

Lovely place, very friendly staff and a good choice on the menu. They were very welcoming and the food was spot on - much needed comfort after having a terrible night’s sleep at the local campsite. Called in again the following morning for a mug of tea and they remembered me from my visit the day before and asked if I’d had a better night’s sleep! Doggy friendly, with a nice little al fresco area with a lovely view over the River Wye. Easy walk up from Bakewell town centre, or down from Greenhills campsite. There is also plenty of parking nearby for visitors to the Riverside units. Called in again for some takeaway rolls - not the biggest but super fresh and tasty. Will definitely be calling again.

Excellent food and locally roasted good quality coffee. The service was very friendly. The cafe was a little difficult to find - look out for the signs when you reach the estate but the effort was worth it. We will be returning.

Such a sweet little find. About a 10 min walk from the centre of Bakewell, which is lovely and scenic when you get off the road and cross over the river. We sat outside looking over the river and watched the ducks. Both had a toastie and coffee and was delicious. Nice and quiet as it’s not in the centre of town too.
